As of January 1, 2018, contributions to a candidate and related committees specified in Fremont Municipal Code Section 2.30.030 cannot exceed $690 per person or business entity, Corporation, LLC, Union, or any other business entity or association, per election cycle. You may not legally contribute if you are a foreign national without permanent residence in the United States. Contributions are not deductible as charitable contributions for federal tax purposes.
